Marine of the Year Award
The Marine of the Year represents the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a regular member by the Department of Pennsylvania. Detachment members recommend candidates, with selections screened by former Marine of the Year recipients. Winners receive recognition at the Department Convention Banquet.
Nomination Process
- Submit nominations per Administrative Procedures Enclosure (9) guidelines
- Email submissions to MOYSociety.PA@gmail.com
- Pennsylvania members may also compete for Northeast Division Marine of the Year
- National-level nominations follow Chapter THREE, Section 3105, paragraph (g) procedures
Associate Member of the Year Award
The Associate Member of the Year Award provides the highest honor that can be bestowed upon an Associate member by the Department. Like the Marine award, detachment members submit recommendations reviewed by past Marine of the Year recipients, with honorees celebrated at the Convention Banquet.

- Submit electronically to MOYSociety.PA@gmail.com
- Eligible for Northeast Division Associate of the Year consideration
- National nominations governed by Chapter THREE, Section 3105, paragraph (h)
